What are sand dunes?
Hills of sand shaped by the wind- Are constantly changing.
What is an oasis? How do they Form? Why are they important in this area?
An oasis is a wet, fertile area in the desert. When underground water bubbles to the surface. They are important because this area is mostly desert so oases are the people living there’s only source of water.
Describe some things about the Nomadic lifestyle.

-live in a tent
-raise goats, sheep, or/and camels, so they have to move constantly
-lived in a tribe(most likely relatives) for protection

- Merchant, farmers, or craftsmen- sell to traders in a caravan
-settled down: stay near home
-trade at a Souk(market)
What is a Caravan?
A group of traders that travel together for protection.
What was a Souk?
A market to trade or buy goods
