What can mutations be caused by

A

Patients are harmful because they can interrupt the normal function of a protein
Can be caused by:
Addition rotation – one or more bases add to DNA sequence

Deletion mutation – one or more bases removed from the DNA sequence

Substitution rotation – one or bases are change the DNA sequence
—> They are neutral – as amino acid’s can be coded for more than one codon (sequences of three nucleotides
