Aims at integrating new employees into the organisation quickly.
Successful Onboarding
Gets new employees being productive quickly, avoid errors, reduce new hire attrition, set expectations, and reduce employee stress.
Orientation
Should familiarize the employee with the organisation as a whole.
Socialization
Helps the newcomer to understand organisational values and “how things are done here”.
Best practices for Onboarding
Introduce team members, paperwork ready, tour the facility.
