Method
how the study was conducted (so the research can be reproduced). It has subsections:
- Participants or subjects
- Materials
- Apparatus
- Procedure
Participants or subjects
description of the participants and how they were obtained
Materials
describes testing materials or type of problem participants were asked to solve
Apparatus
describes specific equipment used
Procedure
summarizes each step of the research, including the groups used in the study, instructions given to the participants, the experimental manipulation, and specific control features in the design
Results
summarizes data collected
Discussion
results are evaluated and interpreted. Typically starts with a statement of the predictions and then whether they were supported
