asymptomatic ; tolerates medications ; no injury to vascular access site ; no ischemic ECG changes ; needs ETT 3-6 months post-PCI
What is certification period for post-PCI?
Initially certify for up to 6 months, then maximum of 1 year thereafter
What is waiting period for post-CABG?
At least 3 months
What are the parameters for certification post-CABG?
asymptomatic
; tolerates medication w/o orthostatic sx
; LVEF greater than or equal to 40%

; healed sternum

mild AS: AVA > 1.5cm2

Annual certification if asymptomatic and with echocardiogram Q5years

No certification if anginal, cardiac failure, syncope, AFib, thromboembolism or LVEF<50%

No certification if no surgery; annual certification if at least 3 months post-op
