Trust VS Mistrust (0-1), Autonomy VS Shame & Doubt (1-3), Initiative VS Guilt (3-6), Industry VS Inferiority (6-12), Identity VS Role Confusion, Intimacy VS Isolation (19-25+), Generativity VS Stagnation (25- 50+)
Bandura- Observational and Modeling Learning
“Monkey see, monkey do” Live model: demonstrates (can interact with model), Verbal model: explains/describes behavior, Symbolic model: books, movies, TV, etc (can’t interact with)
4 Stages- (1) Attention, (2) Retention, (3) Reproduction, (4) Motivational
Kohlberg- Moral Development
Level: Preconventional (1) Obedience & Punishment (consequence), (2) Instrumental Orientation (rewards), Level: Conventional (3) Good Boy, Nice Girl (want approval), (4) Law and Order (follow rules), Level: Post Conventional (5) Social Contract (Laws can be wrong, greater good), (6) Universal Ethical Principle (equality, do what you think is morally right)
Gilligan
Similar to Kohlberg but feminine side. Stages (1) Caring as survival- I love myself, (2) Conventional Caring- I love you more than myself, (3) Integrated Caring- I love myself and I love you.
