Module 2.3 Flashcards
You need to be considerate towards the people you are communicating with when using a program like Skype to chat to family members overseas.
Briefly explain what this means by referring to two suitable examples in your answer.
- Make sure that you check what their local time is before trying to contact them. Keep differences in bandwidth (cost, speed and cap) in mind.
Briefly describe what a distribution list in the context of an email program is and mention the main advantage of this feature.
- Contacts can be organised into groups (distribution lists) so that you are able to send the same message to the group without having to add all the addresses individually each time.
