Found in China. Characterized by fear of being looked at. Individuals tend to be conforming, rigid and introverted.

Seen in students of Southern Nigeria. Somatoform disorder arising in connection with taking examinations.
Brain fag
Type of social anxiety which originated in Japan. Displease, embarrass or are offensive to other people in appearance, odor, facial expressions or movements.
Taijin kyofusho
Begin to scream, shout, curse, break items, tear clothing and run into the cold temperatures.
Pibloktoq or arctic hysteria
Situations where cultural context exaggerates behaviors which otherwise are normal, but become pathological under certain conditions.

Characterized by an exaggerated reaction to sudden noises or other startling stimuli.
Outburst of screaming, dancing and a person laughing hysterically.
Latah
When culture influence the frequency at which a particular problem occurs for example drunkenness and body and weight concerns.
