Used to describe people who have features of schizophrenia and severe mood disorder

Why are there subtypes of schizoaffective disorder?
Because there are types of mood disorders
How is the reliability of schizoaffective disorder?
Reliability of this disorder has tended to be quite poor and clinicians often do not agree about who meets the criteria for the diagnosis
Prognosis of Schizoaffective Disorder
somewhere between that of patients with schizophrenia and that of patients with mood disorders
What schizophrenia spectrum disorder does long-term outcome work better form more than schizophrenia?
Research suggests that the long-term (10-year) outcome is much better for patients with schizoaffective disorder than it is for patients with schizophrenia
