What is the burden of disease
Burden of disease analysis is a technique used to assess and compare the impact of different diseases, conditions or injuries (referred to collectively as causes) on a population. It uses information from a range of sources that quantify the fatal and non-fatal effects and combine them into a summary measure of health called the DALY-a disability-adjusted life year.
