Tetanus, Diptheria & Acellular Pertusis (Tdap)
A
- Brand name — Boostrix or Adacel
- Give at age 11 (CDC)
—Td booster q10 years thereafter

Meningococcal Vaccine
A
- MCV4 - Menactra and Menveo
- Given at age 11-12 w/ Booster at age 16
If a student is entering college or a dormitory and has not been immunized, give immunization prior to entry

Human Papilloma Virus - HPV
A
- Recommended at age 11
- Age 9-14 years at initiation — 2 doses 6 months apart
- Age 15 or older at initiation — 3 doses at 0, 1-2, and 6 months
**Number of doses dependent on age at initial vaccination
Guardasil 9
- Only HPV vaccine on the market
- Covers HPV types 16 and 18 which cause cancers in females, penile and anal cancers in males, and head and neck CA’s in both genders
- Also covers types 6 &11 which cause genital warts in both genders
- Most effective before first sexual contact

Covid-19 Vaccine
A
- Pfizer is the only vaccine approved for ages 5 and up
- Booster approved for ages 16 and older
- Adolescents age 12 and older receive the same dose as adults
- Patients who are Immunocompromised receive a 3rd dose
