This place is very unique and cool because they make a lot of their money off of their canal. They have a very cool system of getting ships through the canal.
Cuba
This place is very interesting and unique because there cars are from the 1950’s because they can’t afford new ones and they had a trade embargo with the US. They are only 90 miles away from Miami and people used to go to Cuba for the weekend. The Fidel Castro took over and made it a communist country. He ruled for over 50 years.
Haiti
This place is not doing so well because they got struck by a earthquake and recently hurricane Mathew which they weren’t prepared for. A major source of income is remittances, or money sent back home by people from there who work in other countries.
Puerto Rico
It has been a commonwealth, or self-governing territory, of the United States. They are American citizens, and they can come and go as they wish between that country and the United States mainland.

Two interesting facts about Argentina is first that Argentina is home of the Andes and is the second largest country in South America. Argentina is huge on their beef and creates most of the worlds beef.
Brazil
Brasilia the capital was made to look futuristic and made to look like how they thought buildings would look like so Brasilia is full of cool and weird looking buildings. Brazil is also home to the Amazon which is suffering from deforestation.
Venezuala
A cool fact about Venezuela is that they are sitting on a big oil reserve and their president that they would sell the oil to make money to help to economy but he just used it for himself. The countries factories makes steel and food products.
Colombia
Nearly 80 percent of Colombia’s people live in the valleys and highland plateaus of the Andes. Bogota is the capital and is the largest city. They are the world leading suppliers of emeralds.
Chile
It has a unusual ribbonlike shape that is 2,652 miles. Beautiful beaches and dessert also very clear skies. Chiles landscape range from extremely dry desert in the north ice formations in the south. Chile is a major world producer of copper. In chile there is a large deposit of sodium nitrate, a mineral used in fertilizer.
