Modeling the Process Flashcards
What type of process flow shape does a green box represent?
An single step assignment: point of human interaction for a single user
What is a decision shape and what is it’s visual appearance?
A choice between multiple outcomes that’s automatically evaluated; It’s a peach/orange colored diamond shape
What type of process flow shape does a blue box represent?
A sub-process i.e. another flow
What type of process flow shape does a light orange box represent?
An utility: automated action performed by PRPC
How are start and end shapes represented, an what is it’s visual appearance?
A circular green shape is a start; A circular red shape is an end
How many end shapes can you have in a flow?
Unlimited
What are smart shapes?
A set of shapes pre-configured to perform specific actions
What does a connector represent from each of the following shapes: single step assignment, decision, process, utility?
Single step assignment: Determines the UI presented to the user Decision: Specifics a decision result or condition to evaluate Process: No additional function Utility: No additional function
What does draft mode allow?
Allows saving of a flow even if it references rules and proprieties don’t yet exist
What does the “likelihood” of a flow action represent?
The likelihood indicates the probability of a user or the system selecting that option when processing the case
How do you add flow actions?
Navigate to Case Designer > Configure Process Details> Stage > Step > Properties > Add Action
What can you configure for a shape?
- Name 2. Routing of an assignment 3. Rules to run 4. Work status 5. Notification of a particular party
