Define modal verbs
are used when expressing certainty, possibility, ability, and etc. It gives additional information about the verbs’ function.
Define conditionals
describes something that might happen in the present or future or something that might have happened in the past but didn’t happen.
What is an infinitive?
a form of verb that can be used as a noun, adjective, or adverb. The word “to” is usually used and is applied before the main verb.
What is a bare infinitive?
are formed without “to”, you simply put the main verb within the sentence.
What is the first type of conditional? (Present or Future Real Conditional)
it is used to talk about what might happen in the future. It describes the possible things that can easily come true.
What is the second type of conditional? (Present Unreal Conditional)
it expresses unreal situations in the present or future
What is the third type of conditional? (Past Unreal Conditional)
it talks about the past. It describes a situation that didn’t happen and to imagine the result of the situation.
What is the fourth type of conditional? (Zero Type Conditional)
the conditional is used when you are speaking facts or when the result will always happen.
