- siempre por escrito: si no es por escrito, seguirás teniendo un contrato, solo que no a término fijo
- su duración no puede ser mayor de 3 años: subject to extinctive term - si contrato más de 3 años se vuelve indefinido
- puede ser renovado indefinidamente: y no lo convierte a término indefinido.
prorrogar el contrato
- si no quiere que se prorrogue por un término igual, debe notificar a la otra parte su intención al menos 30 días antes de que expire el término fijo
- la notificación debe ser escrita.
- si igual lo quiero sacar después de los 30 días, le pago una indemnización, lo que debía pagar de lo que me quedaba hasta la extinción del término fijo.
fixed- term less than 1 year
i el término fijo es inferior a un (1) año, únicamente podrá prorrogarse sucesivamente el contrato hasta por tres (3) períodos iguales o inferiores, al cabo de los cuales el término de renovación no podrá ser inferior a un (1) año

- contract will be in perpetuity until one or both decide to terminate it and as long as the causes and matters that gave rise to it persist.

- the duration cant be longer than one month and the tasks must be different from the normal activities of the employer.
- oriented to the satisfaction of the needs of the company, wich do nos have these jobs stipulated as a permanent nature
