Mission Planning Flashcards
Environmental Considerations/Restrictions
Weather, Wave Height, Water Depth, DVE, Elevation, Ship Limits, Crew Restrictions
Expected Various fuel burn rates vs. Regular Range/Performance
Max Endurance: 70KIAS, ~1000pph, prolong time in the air
Max Range: 126KIAS, ~1300pph, ~10lbs/mile, minimizes lbs per mile
410NM with 4700lbs of fuel
Minimum Crew Requirements
b. Enlisted Aircrew should be utilized to the maximum extent practicable on all flights. Night formation flights should be scheduled with two Aircrewmen to the max extent practicable but shall have a minimum of one NVD TACFORM qualified Aircrewman. All night CAL/LZ flights should be scheduled with two Aircrewmen.
