Q

Speaking of MTCR , it is said that its main objective is to prevent proliferation of missiles and missile technology , espicially WMD by controlling exports of materials and systems which contribute to these weapons.

When was this nobel organisation born?

With the existence of such organisations we can assume that proliferation of deadly missiles especially WMD would have reduced but SIPRE yearbook data says otherwise, what could be the reason for this?

A

1987 By G7 countries.

it is because this organisation is not a legally binding treaty but rather is just an informal political entity.
