- Histone deacytylase is an enzyme that removes the acetyl group on histone proteins of DNA
- they silence TSGs
- inhibitor then stops enzyme from working which unsilence TSGs
- tumour growth controlled

what is the moa of metalloproteinase inhibitors
A
chelating agents
inhibitor binds to the zinc at the active site of the enzyme (metalloproteinase) which blocks its activity
