A

FAR Part I definition of night for logging time: time between the end of evening civil twilight and beginning of morning civil twilight as published in the American Air Almanac.
Rule of thumb: 30 minutes after sunset to 30 minutes before sunrise.

3 full stop night landings every 90 days for currency must be 60 minutes after sunset to 60 minutes before sunrise.

Nav lights must be on sunset to sunrise per 91.209.
