Factors of Enterprise Environmental Factors (EEF)
EEF refers to conditions, not under the control of the project team, that influence, constrain, or direct the project.
There are INTERNAL & EXTERNAL Environment.
INTERNAL includes Facilities, Layout, Management Style, Systems, Workforce abilities, Equipments, Level of human resources, and available Funds.
EXTERNAL includes Standards such as ISO 9000, Legal requirements, Government Regulations, Economic condition, Levels of Technology, Society expectations, and National & Regional Culture
Policies
Broad guidelines that support enterprise goals; they do not specify how you’ll carry out an activity.
Procedures
Tells you how to accomplish a task. Procedures are developed from policies.
Organizational Process Assets (OPA)
OPA are the plans, processes, policies, procedures, and knowledge base specific to and used by the performing organization.
