Neoclassical Vs. Pallandianism
Neoclassical - looks to rome, archeologically correct but not copied, old elements used in new ways, urban
Palladianism - Classical elements with lighter structure, looks to Palladio, central portico, rusticated basement, ruralism
Stourhead Vs. Syon House
Stourhead - Asymetrical, winding path
Both - Classical elements, aristocratic, country/rural, idea of journey
Syon House - Symmetrical, central plan, levels of access for classes
Pluralism Vs. Revivalism
Pluralism - emulates past styles in multiples elements, could be context of buildings or 1 building, based upon associations
Revivalism - brings back old style w/o exactly copying, emulates greatness of a particular culture
