MIS 3 Flashcards
Changing Posture - Moceanized
Changing posture has very little to do with correction upper cross syndrome, lower cross syndrome, etc. It has more to do with balancing the function of the nervous, respiratory and other body systems.
Lasting changes to our posture can only be made from the inside-out and must respect the influence of respiratory mechanics and the neurological references and positional sense we use to hold our body upright within the space around us.
Good Posture
Not a constant active muscle nor need to force a system
Good posture is when pelvis, trunk, and head/neck are symmetrically balance to breathe, rest, and rotate
When no one side is working harder than the other.
Core-link (Axial System)
Includes cranial region, thoracic region, abdominal region and pelvic region
