What is a miracle?
A remarkable sign of Gods power, above the laws of nature
What are the two type of miracles?
Nature miracles and Healing miracles
What is a parable?
A fictional story which has an important message or ‘moral’ that can be applied to your life. A parable uses comparisons to get the important message across.
What is famine?
A shortage of food or an object such as cotton during the 1980’s
What is a healing miracle?
Healing miracle- Jesus demonstrates his power over sickness and evil.
What is a nature miracle?
Nature miracle- Jesus demonstrates his power over nature.
Is the woman that touched Jesus’ cloak a healing or nature miracle?

What is Petition and intercession prayer for?
To ask for Gods help e.g. to help someone who may be ill
What is a Sorrow pray used for?
To say sorry if we have let ourselves or God down
What is a Praise and Adoration prayer used for?
Recognition of Gods greatness…. that God is beyond human understanding
What is a Thanksgiving prayer used for?
For the world God created and everything he has done
What is the message given to us from the parable of the good samaritan?
The message we get is to love your neighbours, which is everyone, as you love yourself
