They were all amazed at Jesus’ power
Summarize the walking on water
After Peter came down out of the ship and walked on the water, he became afraid of the storm and began to sink. He called out to Jesus for help. Jesus caught him, and commenting on his lack of faith led him back to the ship, whereupon the storm stopped.
Why does peter begin to sink when he walks on water?
He loses faith and becomes afraid of the storm. Jesus needs to see faith for the miracle to work, so it begins to fail.
