Synchronic - all saying the same thing
Diachronic - all saying the same thing for A LONG TIME
Explain the Snowball Effect.
When more people are converted from majority to minority, it influences more people to convert, and quickens the rate of conversion.
What are the strengths of Minority Influence?
Studies show the importance of consistency, commitment and flexibility
Has real life applications
- minority groups (gay rights etc)
What are the weaknesses of Minority Influence?
Artificial tasks
- less ecological validity
- not like actual minority groups

- many do not want to be radicalised
