4Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, was judging Israel at that time. 5And she used to sit under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim; and the sons of Israel came up to her for judgment. Judges 4
Judges 3:15-21
GOD CAN USE THE LEFT HANDED
15when the sons of Israel cried to the Lord, the Lord raised up a deliverer for them, Ehud the son of Gera, the Benjamite, a left-handed man. And the sons of Israel sent tribute by him to Eglon the king of Moab. 16And Ehud made himself a sword which had two edges, a cubit in length; and he bound it on his right thigh under his cloak. 20And Ehud came to him while he was sitting alone in his cool roof chamber. And Ehud said, “I have a message from God for you.” And he arose from his seat. 21And Ehud stretched out his left hand, took the sword from his right thigh and thrust it into his belly.
Judges 11:30-31
JEPHTHAH’S FOOLISH VOW
30Jephthah made a vow to the Lord and said, “If Thou wilt indeed give the sons of Ammon into my hand, 31then it shall be that whatever comes out of the doors of my house to meet me when I return in peace from the sons of Ammon, it shall be the Lord’s, and I will offer it up as a burnt offering.
