REASONS TO BOAST
Thus says the Lord, “Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; 24but let him who boasts boast of this, that HE UNDERSTANDS AND KNOWS ME, that I am the Lord who exercises lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things, “declares the Lord.

35Thus says the Lord, Who gives the sun for light by day, and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar; the Lord of hosts is His name: 36”If this fixed order departs From before Me,” declares the Lord, “Then the offspring of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before Me forever.”
