Limited impact, increasingly faced difficult experiences from society. Gov began transporting Romani people into slavery in North America from the 1650s onwards

Merchants traded wide variety of goods including people, transatlantic słabe trade began in this period

Enslaved overseas brought back to England to work as servants
They worked for the wealthy, it was fashionable for rich English people to have a black child servant.
Some black African migrants became quite wealthy or musicians eg John Blanke
