Q

Explain Q Paragraph Example

A

One reason for Scottish migration was the highland clearances, which was when landlords forcible evicted Scottish tenants as it was more profitable to have sheep on the land instead of crofters. This was a reason for Scottish migration because it caused many highland Scot’s to become both homeless and unemployed at once, and so had no choice but to migrate elsewhere in order to survive.
