Social - poor standard of living and health and education
Environmental - natural disasters or pollution

Less pressure to provide services
Money is sent back to country which helps invest economy
What a negative impacts of counrty of origin
Labour shortage - people of working age migrate
Skills- shortage skilled educated people leave
High proportion of elderly who can’t work and often need care
What are the positive and negative impacts of migration for country of destination
P- bigger labour force more people working
More taxes are incoming more for government spending
N- people compete for jobs
Overcrowding
Some earns money sent back doesn’t go into economy
What are refugees
People who are forced out of their countries
