What is the impact of migration in the place people migrate from?

A

Advantages
- more jobs will be available as less are looking for a job
- money is sent back - strengthening the economy

Disadvantages
- there would be fewer young people as they have all migrated, this will effect population growth
- it can lead to a skills shortage (eg bricklayers, joiners etc)
