Migration definition
It is the movement of people from one place to another
What are emigrants and immigrants
Emigrants - are people who Exit a place
Immigrants - are people who arrive In a place
What is the origin and en-route
Origin - is the country or place from which the migrant begins
En-route - in between the origin and destination the migrant is described as being en-route
Different types of migration
International - This is the movement of people from one country to another
Temporary - this occurs when people move to work for a particular length of time before returning home. They generally send the money home to their families.
Rural to Urban - this is movement of people from the country side to towns and cities
Internal - the movement of people to different areas within the same country

This is a person who leaves their country because of fear of persecution

Higher employment More wealth Better services Good climate Safer, less crime More fertile land Lower risk from natural hazards
