Minister of the Interior. Tried to stop political unrest after the 1905 revolution

Professional revolutionary, led a 3 year civil war starting in 1917 where the Bolsheviks assumed control of Russia. Died in1924

Built up the Red army in the revolution. Thrown out of the party in 1927, settled in Mexico, and was assassinated in 1940

The book that outlined his plans, while he was in jail
