  1. AIP supplements must be published under the AIRAC system if they contain operationally significant changes to the AIP.
  2. AIP supplements must be allocated a consecutive serial number based on the calendar year.
  3. AIP supplement pages should be printed on colored paper (preferably yellow) to be conspicuous.
  4. AIP supplement pages must be kept in the AIP as long as all or parts of their contents remain valid.
  5. AIP supplement pages can be retained as the first item in an AIP binder, or they can be issued divided into specific parts (e.g., GEN, ENR, and AD) for insertion in each AIP part, as necessary.
  6. Each AIP supplement page must show a publication date. Each AIRAC AIP supplement page must show a publication date and an effective date.
