Triangulation
NR and PR aren’t enough on their own. You need to use interviews, tests/scales/measures, observation, standardized questionnaires, etc to have 3 different ways of assessing your client’s function.
Questionnaires/ Check lists
OSA - occ. self assessment: people rate their interest in different occupations past and present
Depression and anxiety check list
Volition questionnaire - how interested does the client seem in certain things? Do they show curiosity etc.
OT Task Observation Scale OTTOS
Based on clients performance in different tasks such as following directions, independence, concentration etc. No norms but can give you an idea of their performance and affect when performing

Indep living scale - ILS focuses on ability to manage money, cognitive ability etc for individual to live alone safely. Used commonly with schizophrenia
PRPP - organization and planning around a task
UFVO - capacity to process visual input, used in driving assessments.
Different evaluation levels: detect difficulties, screen to ID if in depth evaluation is needed, and to appreciate the impact of cognition on functioning
Assessment of Motor and ProcessSkills AMPS
Standardized
16 motor skills and 20 process skills
Link to community functioning - independent, borderline, dependent
Direct observation of client performing standardized tasks: Have the client perform ADLs like cooking etc and see if their performance requires prompting, is logical, safe, etc
Perceive, Recall, Plan and Perform (PRPP)
Developed for people with brain injuries Standardized IDs difficulties in cognitive process Stage 1: task analysis looking for errors in tasks Stage 2: assess information processing
Executive Function PErformance Test (EFPT)
Standardized and performance based
Executive function through observation of 4 ADLs
-simple cooking
-telephone use
-med management
-bill payment
Scored on whether or not cues and or assistance needed
Score tells you if the person will be able to function in their environment
Occupational Self-Assessment (OSA)
Self administered so needs to have cognitive skills and reading
Score whether or not certain things are a problem or not like concentration, physical ability, managing finances etc.
SECURE
Assessment of people with mental illness’s homes. Safety, living conditions, landowner relationship, how do they pay rent, bills, manage their meds, dishes, etc
Outcome measures
Ongoing reassessment process. Measuring the effect of interventions upon discharge. Administering an assessment before and after treatment. (COPM), OSA, Etc
Work Behaviour Inventroy
Standardized work performance assessment. Scores their social skills, cooperative ness, work habits and quality, etc.
WHO QOL
26 items on perceived quality of life, meaningfulness, safety, etc
