Turkey, lebanon, west of Syria and south east pf Iran because the subtropical ridge extends toward the south pole during the summer and migrates towards the equator during the winter

In central turkey, most pf iran and syria because the moistures wind from the seas, bring sandstorms, however in summer the sun is strong and the rainfall evaporates

Exoskeletons: hard body casing and venenous stingers give them great protection
Nocturnal: therefore awake at noght, to avoid hot temperatures
Low food and water needs: allow them to survive in the harshest environments

How can people surive in a desert environment?

A

Be well prepared, have resources like scarfs, glasses and hats to protect from sand. Purification tablets to be able to purify water, food, water, a lighter to be able to cook things and keep them warm at night.

A

Large, flat feet to spred their weight on the sand
Thick fur on top of the body for shade and thin fur elsewhere to allow easy heat loss
They lick their extrimities to stay fresh

A

Leaves are reduced to spines to reduce water loss through transpiration
Wide and deep roots absorb rainwater on the surafce and reach the underground deep water
It doesnt give up water through evaporation as easily as other plants because it has no leaves

A

Because the Middle East has the world’s largest deposits of oil (55 percent of the world’s reserves) in an easily extracted form, Middle Eastern oil continues to be necessary to the United States. It supplies energy to power industry, heat homes and provide fuel for vehicles and aeroplanes to carry goods and people all over the world

A

Saudi Arabia, UAE and Iraq. Most of the crude oil goes to China and East, but Europe is also a key buyer.
