Upper classes have the cultural capital to succeed in education e.g. similar environment at home and school, levels of language, interests and knowledge they can apply to lessons
This means that inequalities are reproduced through education

Through smart uniforms and the knowledge they have through home which they can contribute in lessons, teachers label them more positively than working class students leading to higher attainment in education.

The upper class are able to pay for their children to attend private schools which offers more support as class sizes are smaller meaning that individual support to students can be given, increasing their chances of higher attainment
