A

Kings were top-tier, they gave land to the lords and gained an army of lords. Lords (second tier) gained land in return for being a part of the king’s army. Knights defended the lords and received a higher social status as well as a place to live. Serfs did the manual labor of the manor like gaming and gave up most of their profits to the Lords.

How did the Middle Ages come to an end in Europe?

A

Everything started to look up, farming harvests improved leading to more money being made. More work opened new jobs and more money called for banks to open to hold the money.
