A
  1. GCSE
  2. Sedation to maintain and facilitate intubation
  3. Sedation for synchronised cardioversion
  4. Sedation for transthoracic pacing
  5. Sedation for agitated patient
  6. Sedation for psychostimulant OD
  7. Alcohol withdrawal syndrome

  1. Known hypersensitivity to benzodiazepines

Midaz - precautions

A
  1. Reduces doses for elderly/frail, CCF, shock, or chronic renal failure
  2. Midaz is enhanced in the presence of narcotics and tranquillisers including alcohol
  3. Respiratory depression in COPD
  4. Myasthenia Gravis
