A

The knowledge of your position in God because of your salvation and redemption in Christ.
It includes having your mind renewed and understand your rights and privileges in Christ and who you are in Christ. The helmet of salvation protects your mind - Satan’s chief battleground. (Defensive protective weapon)

A

Represents a clear understanding of God’s Word. (Defensive/Protective Weapon) Your loins must be girded with the truth of God’s Word. (You won’t get anywhere in prayer unless God’s word abides in you)

A

Refers to your right standing with God. When you accept Jesus you become the righteousness of God in Christ. You wouldn’t be any match for the devil if you didn’t have right standing with God.

To be effective in prayer, you must walk in the light of God’s Word. It’s hard to walk when the path before you is dark. But with the light of God’s Word, you never have to walk in darkness under Satan’s dominion.

Used to quench the fiery darts that he’ll try to assault you with. The shield of faith is to be used in your everyday life and your prayer life. You also need to use the shield of faith against the devil everyday because you need to stay in faith daily not just while you are praying.

The Sword of the Spirit:

A

It is the only part of the armor you fight Satan with. It is the only offensive weapon the Bible mentions. The scriptural way to deal with forces of darkness is with the Sword of the Spirit. The Sword of the Spirit is necessary to hold your ground when standing against attacks of the enemy.

Aggressively attack and stand against the devil with the Word of God.
He is already a defeated foe. We are to use the Sword of the Spirit to enforce or maintain his defeat. “It is written”…the only Word Jesus used against the devil was The Word of God.

A

Stand means to oppose or resist. When the devil comes against the believer we are to stand (oppose and resist) against the enemy based on our faith in God’s Word. The position the believer takes is not one of wrestling as if he had to defeat the devil, for the battle has already been fought and won on Calvary.
