Method for preparing an Onion Cell Microscope Slide:

1. Peel a little bit of the Onions epidermis of and place it in the middle of the Slide.
2. Next drop a few drops of Iodine Solution onto the epidermis.
3. Thirdly put a coverslip onto the epidermis, making sure that it is being lowered down on an angle to prevent air bubbles.
4. If there is any excess Iodine Solution around the cover slip, use a paper towel to soak it up.
5. Place the finished coverslip onto the Microscopes stage and that’s it.
