how to use a microscope correctly
Carry your microscope using the arm and base
Adjust the mirror for the brightest light
Always start the lowest ( smallest ) objective lens in place
Then focus using the fine and coarse adjustment knobs

the number of times bigger the image seen through the microscope is compared to the actual size
