Q

Gram + anaerobes

A

clostridium / actinomyces/ peptostreptococcus
Clostridium species = spore-forming
Clostridium difficile, Clostridium botulinum, and Clostridium tetan
Peptostreptococcus is a very common cause of abscesses in respiratory tract.
➔Treated with clindamycin = anaerobes

17
Q

Gram – anaerobes

A

bacteroides / fusobacterium/ prevotella
Anaerobes can lead to
➔oral cavity infections, vaginal infection, GI tract infections.
