What is an MI?
A
Myocardial infarction - heart attack. Caused by a blockage in one if the main cardiac arteries stopping blood flow to the heart and oxygen.
Can be partially blocked (NSTEMI) or fully (STEMI).

Symptoms of MI
A
Chest pain that can spread to back, jaw, neck and arm. Sweating clammy skin Impending sense of doom Anxiety Weakness, lightheadedness

A
Pain relief
ECG
Aspirin (300mg if prescribed)
Bloods - troponin
