What is angina ?
A
It is the medical term for chest pain.
Caused by narrowing of the artieries due to atherosclerotic plaques building up in arteries.

Symptoms of angina
A
Chest pain on exertion.
Sweaty clammy skin.
Elevated heart rate and BP

Treatment of angina
A
GTN spray - 1-2 sprays up to three times.
Rest

A
Bloods - to see if anything else is causing pain.
Cardiac rehab
Medication reviewed
ECG
