Mexico’s winemaking history began with the arrival of the Spanish to the Americas in the 16th century.
Mexico was the first country producing wine in the Americas (unsure if the first wines where plantes in Veracruz and Puebla).
Baja California is where the majority of wine is made, the most important site is Guadalupe Valley.
Mediterranean climate.
