What brought up Texas Revolution
During the early 19 century, The Mexican government encouraged American immigration to prevent future U.S. territorial invasions. But Americans brought slavery, and Mexicans enforced the law and abolished slavery in Texas. The Texans protested under the pretext that they had been deprived of their rights. The revolt led to the Texas Revolution.
What happened during the Texas revolution?
February 23, 1863. The Battle of Alamos begins in SAN Antonio. In a back-and-forth battle, the revolution ended in Mexico’s defeat. Santa Anna was forced to sign the Treaty of Velasco, ending the Texas Revolution.
On which two rivers is the border dispute between the United States and Mexico
The debate was then between Mexico and America about the border dispute. Mexico claimed the Nueces River and the US claimed the Rio Grande. The compromise was not made, and America declared war on Mexico.

In 1847, the United States captured Veracruz, then California and New Mexico. The capital was occupied in 1848. The war ended in victory for the United States, which gained New Territories, including California and Texas.
