Strengths of observations and education
A
Non participant- if you have support of a head teacher it can be easy to gain access to data on teachers and pupils as you wouldn’t have to gain consent lie you would for other methods ie experiment
Participant- allowed researcher to gain trust which means you can get a true and valid picture
Non participant structured- allows you to produce qualitative data which is easy to analyse and reliability can be tested
Non participant- should be more objective and free from bias as there is less likelihood of the researcher influencing participants behaviour
For interpitevists it gives valid data as the researcher really gains access to the school
