What are the Major Causes for Metabolic Allkalosis?
A
- Increased HCO3: VOMITING, Gastric Suctioning, Hypokalemia
- Increased Loss of Acids or Excretion: Excessive HCO3 ingestion (TUMS or Baking Soda), Diuretic Use, Gastric Suctioning.
