Small pieces of broken flint were found. This is very hard rock that shatters into pieces when is broken.
Use big pieces of Flint to make spears and axe-head for hunting and fishing.
How were their houses made?
They discovered a circle of post holes they tell us that wooden branches were out there.
How did they find their food?
The people who lived at mount sandal were called hunter gatherers, the men hunted and fished in lakes for food, where as the children and mothers picked berries and wild foods.
